Nadja Thiessen at TU Darmstadt’s E-Learning Roundtable
At the E-Learning Roundtable hosted by the Center for University Didactics on Wednesday, April 22, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., Nadja Thiessen, researcher at emergenCITY, will present the serious game Krisopolis.
Krisopolis is a mobile app that uses gameplay to demonstrate how important foresight, smart decisions, and social cooperation are during crises such as power outages, storms, or lockdowns. The game combines interactive fun with sound knowledge on how to handle exceptional situations, thereby strengthening decision-making skills in emergencies.
In a presentation, the co-developer will introduce the background and experiences related to the didactic and technical design and implementation of the game. This input will be followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion.
The event will take place online and is open to students and staff at TU Darmstadt, as well as guests and anyone else interested. Please register via TU4YOU, the central portal for courses, workshops, and advisory services for members of the TU Darmstadt.
