emergenCITY will be presenting local and hands-on resilience research on Friday, 7 June between 3 and 6 p.m. at this year’s Digitaltag, organized by the Digital City of Darmstadt. In the Carree-Hof in Darmstadt’s city center in front of the event location Centralstation, the LOEWE center emergenCITY will be presenting aspects of its current research in and on Darmstadt in a practical and accessible way for old and young. In addition to a 3D printing hands-on activity for younger visitors, all game enthusiasts can try out the Serious Game Krisopolis and overcome a fictitious crisis scenario with an avatar in the digital learning game. The researchers will also be on site to provide information about emergenCITY projects centered around the development of Darmstadt’s first Heinerblock in the Lichtenberg district, which emergenCITY is implementing as part of the Digitaler Heinerblock mission. Interested parties can find out more about the planned sensor boxes in the neighborhood and the digital advertising pillar for the quarter. We look forward to seeing everyone who drops by!
