Recent years have made it clear that Germany needs to invest significantly more in the maintenance and protection of critical infrastructure – in every respect. The lecture series, supported by the LOEWE Center emergenCITY, highlights various areas of the individual sectors and their respective challenges, but also provides a general understanding of criticality and resilience.
This semester, topics such as crisis communication and the protection options for terrestrial infrastructure, as well as flood prevention and the regulation of critical infrastructure from an economic perspective, will be discussed.
