The International Conference on Resilient Systems (ICRS) is entering the next round: the renowned conference will be held in Delft, Netherlands, from March 23 to 25, 2026, under the theme “Resilience in an Age of Disruption”. The call for submissions is now open: Researchers, practitioners and experts are invited to submit their contributions on resilient socio-technical-ecological systems.

emergenCITY in the organizing team

Christian Reuter, Max Mühlhäuser and Marc-André Kaufhold from emergenCITY and TU Darmstadt are involved in the organization of the conference. Together with the organizing institutions - 4TU.Resilience Engineering, the Singapore-ETH Centre and ETH Zurich - they are designing a diverse program for the international resilience community.

Diverse topics and formats

ICRS 2026 will focus on innovative approaches to designing, analyzing and controlling interconnected systems that are able to withstand or recover from disruptions. In addition, an Open Track offers space for new, experimental ideas and practice-oriented contributions. Contributions can be submitted in various formats: as a presentation by means of abstract, poster or demo as well as a pitch.

The deadline for submission is August 27, 2025 at 12:00 noon (CET). Registration for participation in the conference will be open from July 2025.
