Stefan Fabian is a doctoral candidate in the Robotics Group. He joined the group during his bachelor thesis and has since successfully participated in numerous international robotics com- petitions. Highlights include first place at the ARGOS Challenge for the world’s first autonomous inspection robot for the oil and gas industry, the Best Radiation Mapping Award at ENRICH, first place at the World Robot Summit Plant Disaster Challenge in Japan, and multiple Best-in-Class Autonomy Awards at the RoboCup Worldwide Rescue League. Since 2020, he has been working as a doctoral researcher at emergenCITY. His research focuses on operator interfaces for rescue robotics and autonomous navigation, with a particular emphasis on geometric stability
